Life is complicated at best and painful at worst. No matter what your story or struggle, there is hope, even when it’s hard to see. It’s an honor to be invited into your world and I humbly come alongside you in my own vulnerability as a fellow human. I have a warm, friendly, and caring personal style. Counseling is a collaborative relationship where I follow your lead and we work together on creating goals that impact your life for good. I practice within the framework of your worldview and listen to each part of your story with unconditional positive regard and genuine care.

I am a licensed associate counselor at Journeys Counseling Center. I earned my MA degree in Counseling through Phoenix Seminary, an MA degree in Education from Ottawa University, and a BA degree in Christian Ministry from Arizona Christian University. I have experience in counseling in a variety of settings including school counseling for the last twelve years, outpatient counseling, and counseling through telehealth services. I have worked as a school counselor at both alternative school settings working with high risk students and at a comprehensive high school with achieving students. I love working with teens, adults, and families. I have a person-centered approach with an emphasis on your story that is strength-based and trauma-informed. I’m committed to partnering with you in your journey to help you uncover compassion for yourself as you gain greater clarity on who you want to be and where you want to go.
