Tyler Williams, MA, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
It was out of my experience pursuing different professional endeavors after getting my degree in Business Marketing – small business start ups, non-profit development and management, career advisement, and teaching art workshops to adults and teens – that I discovered my passion for walking with teens, adults, and couples through counseling. This process led to my getting my Master of Arts in Counseling and has shaped a caring understanding of others who grapple with life’s challenges, disappointments, traumas, unmet longings, and distant dreams.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Emotionally Focused (EFT), Solution Focused (SFT), Strengths Based (SBT), and Person Centered (PCT). As an artist, I enjoy working with artists who want to incorporate their creativity in the therapeutic process. I also enjoy helping couples work through communication struggles and build toward a safer and more secure connection. I like helping clients work through a variety of life issues and am committed to creating a safe space to walk alongside you. My desire is to provide support as you work through life’s pain and challenges in a way that utilizes your strengths and insights as you move towards healing. There is hope for more, and I look forward to taking the next step with you.
