Processing Church Trauma Group

Vision & Purpose of Workshop:

This process-oriented workshop is designed to provide space for individuals who have experienced past church hurt, including spiritual, verbal, emotional, and sexual abuse. This 6-week journey will use psychodrama so clients can move through their trauma to reduce reactivity and experience freedom.

Goals of Workshop:

Understand how church hurt has impacted view of self, church, and faith
Gain tools to manage difficult emotions better
Identify ways to release shame and other unwanted emotions to create room to love self and others

Cost of Workshop:

$600 per person for the entirety of the workshop ($100 per week)
$50 discount if paid in full at registration ($550 total)

This is a closed group meaning that no new members will be accepted after the sign-up window closes
We understand that life happens and that you may not be able to join for one week. There will unfortunately be no reimbursement and you will be expected to return the following week unless otherwise communicated.
This is a key ingredient to the workshop. In a nutshell, everything that is said in the group room stays in the group room. During the sign-up process, you will sign confidentiality agreements that will detail how confidentiality will work but rest assured your story is sacred and safe.
This happens and there is no shame. If you feel that you won’t be able to participate, please speak with the workshop facilitator
We understand and validate you may not have experienced church hurt, however, the purpose of this group is to begin healing church-hurt wounds
