Adult ADHD Psychoeducational Group.

 

Vision & Purpose:

This 6-week series of interactive workshops will provide psychoeducation about ADHD and a space to ask questions and experiment with new ways to manage your everyday life, symptoms, and relationships. Collaborate with a Licensed Professional Counselor and your peers to infuse creativity, novelty, and fun into an ADHD-friendly lifestyle tailored to you.


Goals:

  1. Learn More About ADHD: Gain a deeper understanding of what ADHD is and best practices around managing its symptoms.

  2. Learn New Coping Strategies: Learn best practices around managing ADHD symptoms and brainstorm ways to tailor coping strategies to you.

  3. Uncover Your Strengths: Utilize a strengths-based approach to self-reflect on how ADHD manifests and impacts your life.

  4. Collaboratively Problem-Solve: Strategize and experiment with ADHD-friendly approaches to living your life in a way that is uniquely tailored to you.

  5. Address Self-Esteem Issues: Explore the impact of ADHD on your sense of self. Learn strategies to address low self-esteem or negative self-talk rooted in past experiences influenced by ADHD.

  6. Navigate Relationship Challenges: Engage in discussions about common relationship issues associated with ADHD and discover new strategies to address and navigate them effectively.

Group Details.

These are open groups for people who are 18+ years old. The groups currently allows for a maximum of 8 participants.

Cost for Psycho-Educational Group:

  • $75 per session for all 6 sessions upfront ($450 total for 6 sessions)

    $80 per session for “pay as you go”

 

Location & Days:

  • In person at the Journeys office

  • Meets weekly for 6 weeks

  • Meets Friday nights from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
