Shannon Coonce is a 4th generation Phoenician who received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary. She is on the Journeys team as an associate therapist under the supervision of Vanessa Van Dyke, MA, LPC.
Shannon has experience working with an array of clients including children, adolescents, adults, and couples with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to relational concerns, faith struggles, and maternal mental health. She believes that by learning skills to navigate dysregulation, we can process our trauma and accept our story with hopefulness and possibility. Shannon is passionate about helping clients navigate these internal and external realities with groundedness and grace in order to feel more connected with themselves, their loved ones, and God.
