We are a multi-modality practice; therefore, students and young clinicians get exposure to several different speciality areas as they consult with our team. At the heart of our program is a focus on developing the person of the therapist.
Here at Journeys we seek to decrease competition and isolation and increase collaboration and teamwork, which we believe lays the foundation for a sustainable work-life balance. Our training program seeks to emphasize these values in addition to helping trainees develop clinical excellence.
We interview potential interns in January of each year. Associate level therapists may inquire regarding availability through our administrative manager.
Please contact Vanessa Van Dyke, our Clinical Training Director, for more information.
Lower fee clinicians are often easier on the budget, and you can be assured that our interns and associates are highly supervised and mentored, ensuring high quality of care.
We generally recommend scheduling a specialized assessment with a trusted Journeys counselor to evaluate what your child or family’s specific needs are, as well as determining best the options for treatment and more precise answers to the questions you may have about the process. The Journeys team strives to provide you with the best fit professionally, and will happily direct you to the counselor with the best personality, expertise and approach for your family.
