I have a Master’s degree in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. I have worked in the behavioral health field since 1998, gaining experience in a wide range of mental health care agencies. I have had the privilege of working with the homeless populations in both Phoenix and San Diego. And, I enjoyed working as a case manager for chronically mentally ill adults in Arizona, California, and Hawaii. As a co-founder of Journeys, I am committed to the development of a connected team of therapists and seek to offer an emotionally safe place for clients to process difficult issues.
Humility and vulnerability are two of my favorite words, and I recognize how difficult it is to develop and sustain these qualities, especially in relationships. I love to help individuals see their larger potential and avoid destructive patterns by helping them stay rooted in these principles. I work with individuals, couples, and groups. I particularly enjoy working with men who struggle with disconnection in their relationships and couples in distress who are in need of strategies for healing. I assist individuals who are facing addictions of all kinds and practice being direct in a kind and graceful manner.
