Stephanie Otte, MC, LAC, CCTP, NCC
Licensed Associate Counselor
Stephanie Otte graduated with her Master's in Counseling from Arizona State University in 2015. Since then, Stephanie has worked in a variety of settings with children, adults, families, couples, and groups. She earned her Associate Counselor's License (LAC) and National Counselor Certification (NCC) in 2015 then became a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) in 2016.
Stephanie specializes in topics such as anxiety, self-esteem, depression, anger management, trauma abuse and recovery, and conflict-resolution. She worked at a community health organization, Valle del Sol, as a youth counselor to help children, adolescents, and families work on emotional and behavioral concerns, as well as improve family dynamics. She believes that families can grow and learn together in new, healthy ways to address both individual and family concerns.
Stephanie loves to integrate faith into how one thinks, lives, and engages with others. She believes that taking one's whole self into account is crucial in the counseling process. She also has a passion for empowering women and helping them to heal in their relationships with themselves and others. Stephanie has lead a variety of girls' groups in the past to help young girls and women know and accept themselves more fully, as well as heal in their relationships with other women.
Prior to her work in the counseling field, Stephanie was as a Young Life leader for college students and mentored many young women as they explored and deepened their faith. She also has volunteered as a tutor for high school students and a mentor for middle school students. She has a passion for encouraging young people to grow to be their best selves.
